No mess and no cleaning your burner after each scent. You can change scents simply by removing one cup and placing another in your burner. I use a little mica powder in the wax melts to make the wax swirl and move while burning. I recommend using the cups as the mica powder will make the clean up of your wax burner messy. And, the swirl is seen better in these cups rather than directly in your burner. After the wax cools, the mica powder will settle to the bottom. When reheating, wait until the wax melt gets hot and stir it with a toothpick.
